Learn how the Illinois Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, a federally mandated program in the Illinois Department on Aging, can advocate for you when you need help. All facilities are required to inform you about how to reach the Ombudsman, but the information is often overlooked. Kelly, Lee and Bernard oversee this statewide and regional resident-directed advocacy program which protects and improves the quality of life for residents in a variety of long-term care settings.
