Skyline Village Chicago, Hyde Park Village and The Village Chicago will join for dinner at the historic Walnut Room. The world-famous and iconic Walnut Room was the first restaurant ever opened in a department store - Marshall Fields. With Circassian wood paneling imported from Russia and Austrian chandeliers, the dining room is both elegant and comfortable. The Walnut Room is known for its Classic Mrs Herring's 1890 Chicken Pot Pie.
Evening entertainment and sing-along will be provided by Andy Teitleman, musician and retired Director of Senior Services at the Chicago Housing Authority.
First Course
- Walnut Room Salad - mixed greesm mandarin slices, almonds, Signature toasted sesame dressing
Second Course Choice of one of the following entrées:
- Mrs. Herring’s 1890 Original Chicken Pot Pie - Chicken, carrots, sweet corn, leeks, peas in a creamy filling under a flaky pie crust
- Caramelized Salmon - Salmon, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables
- Butternut Squash Tortellacci Pasta (Vegetarian) Bleu cheese, roasted red peppers, topped with pumpkin seeds

Wine by the bottle is half price on Wednesday evenings.
Beer, cocktails and dessert can be ordered separately.
